Survey on fire prevention and the Belgian public
Since 2010, a large-scale survey has been conducted every two years by the ANPI and the Directorate General for Security and Prevention (Belgian Interior Ministry), with the aim of measuring the impact of efforts to raise awareness among the public in the form of fire prevention campaigns conducted by the authorities.
Each edition of the survey produces some thought-provoking results on the public’s behaviour in response to domestic fire risks.
Key points from the survey of 2,000 Internet users in September 2016 are avalable in French and in Dutch.
