New fire approach of the ATG and ten-year liability of waterproofing works
The update of the ATG comes into force on 1 May. This will impose another means of verifying the compliance of a certain roof composition with the Broof(t1) fire regulations. Since 2018, contractors are required to take out insurance to cover their ten-year liability. During this study afternoon, we will also explain under which conditions this insurance is compulsory.
The Belgian Association of Waterproofing Contractors (ABEE) is organising, in close cooperation with BCCA (BBRI and SECO) and the Construction Confederation, a study afternoon on the updating of the ATG and the ten-year contractors' liability insurance.
