The BBRI has just published Technical Information Note n° 282 devoted to curtain walls with steel or aluminium structures.
In effect from 1 July 2022, the revision of the basic standards on the fire safety of façades has an important impact on the choice of materials constituting the latter, notably the insulation. The new TIN establishes rules for the design and implementation of curtain walls to meet the regulatory requirements in force in Belgium for new buildings.
