Automatic sprinkler systems emulsifiers, also known as blowing agents, are becoming increasingly effective and require more and more advanced techniques to determine their performance and reliability over time.
Having invested in equipment to validate low viscosity foams, our laboratories can now perform a high viscosity control analysis.

Our priority: to remain the market leader in fire-fighting foam testing

With this new investment, ANPI wants to remain the market leader in the verification of extinguishing foams and thus filling the gap that has existed until now, when there was no accredited laboratory on the market to carry out this type of analysis.
As with most of its other testing platforms, ANPI has submitted its operating procedures to the European control authorities (BELAC in Belgium) according to the highest quality standard EN ISO/IEC 17025.

Accredited under ISO 3219 to validate all ranges of foaming agents

ANPI is now accredited and able to help manufacturers, designers, installers, and operators to validate all ranges of fire fighting foam agents and blowing agents used in the field of fire protection!

What is ISO 3219?

This International Standard establishes the general principles of a test method for the determination of the viscosity of polymers and resins (whether in liquid, emulsified or dispersed form) by means of rotational viscometers with a standard geometry and a defined shear rate gradient. Viscosity determinations in accordance with this International Standard consist of correlating the shear stress with the velocity gradient. The results obtained with the different instruments complying with this standard are comparable and apply to both shear-controlled and stress-controlled instruments.
