In these difficult times, we hope that you, your colleagues, your family and your friends are doing well. The last 6 months have been quite intense in terms of emotion, stress and work. Despite the current situation, we are working hard to bring this year to a fitting close and to assist you as you deserve.
We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of two important announcements concerning our work on sprinkler systems.
The first point concerns the administrative documents required for the study, initial inspection ("acceptance by an ISO/IEC 17020 accredited inspection body") and periodic inspection of sprinkler installations. As you know, the various standards used for the design, installation and maintenance of sprinkler installations require that a complete administrative file accompany each sprinkler installation. We hereby wish to remind you of the essential documents that must be submitted to us for verification. The list is attached to this letter.
The second point concerns the addition of service lines to our fee schedule for our inspection assignments concerning small modifications to sprinkler installations. By "small modifications" we mean the addition or repositioning of sprinklers. The aim here is to apply a fee structure that is more in line with market demand, i.e. cheaper for small installations. For these assignments, the following pricing will be applied:
Approval of plans and calculation notes :
Repositioning max. 30 sprinklers - 1 report included 229.08
Adding max. 30 sprinklers (calculation notes required) - 1 report included 305.44
Repositioning max. 60 sprinklers - 1 report included 305.44
Adding max. 60 sprinklers (mandatory calculation notes) - 1 report included 381.80
Initial inspection ("Reception"):
Modification/addition max. 60 sprinklers - 1 report included 453.82€.
These 2020 prices are expressed in € and are exclusive of VAT.
These new service lines will also be included in our price list, which is sent to you at the beginning of each year. As a reminder, above 60 sprinklers, the flat rate pricing, which you are aware of, remains applicable.
It is also important to remind you that, even for "small modifications", a complete administrative file must be sent to us for approval.
