The Belgian Electrotechnical Committee CEB has published a new edition of TECHNICAL NOTE 020 "Specifications for alarm control panels".
T 020 deals with the specifications for alarm control panels under the INCERT brand. In particular, it contains requirements for :
Security of the construction and its environment;
Switching, receiving, processing and operating equipment;
Operational management;
Power supply;
Data transmission and storage;
Maintenance and control of the installations.
The previous version of the T 020 technical notice dates from 2008. Due to the evolution of technology and the revision of the corresponding European standard, EN 50518, it was decided to amend T 020. A comparison between EN50518:2019 and T 020:2008 was first carried out. Subsequently, T 020 was revised on the principle of taking at least the requirements of EN 50518:2019.
