Too many people are unaware of the dangers of pyrotechnic articles and their handling, especially with regard to articles that do not bear - or bear a "false" - CE marking.
The experts of the IBS - Institut für Brandschutztechnik und Sicherheitsforschung (AUT) are very often confronted with the negative effects of these products, both during their tasks of determining the causes of fire and explosion and during legal proceedings. To this end, they have carried out pyrotechnical tests in order to empirically establish the technical principles and determine the legally acceptable risks to both people and property.
