Code for well-being at work - End of the transitional period on 12 June 2019
A series of Royal Decrees of 28 April 2017 established the 'Code for Wellbeing at Work' with the force of law. Previously, the Code "was" only an unofficial coordinated document.
Remember, you had to refer to each Royal Decree as such. In our field, for example, the Royal Decree of 28 March 2014 on fire prevention in the workplace, or the Royal Decree of 17 June 1997 on health and safety signs.
The provisions of these decrees are now fully incorporated into the Code. The transitional period of 2 years for adapting the references has expired.
Since 12 June 2019, all documents must refer to the Code, and no longer to the old Royal Decrees, which are repealed.
